Naomi & Jeff engaged!
My afternoon session in the Bragg Creek/Elbow Falls area last weekend was the e-session for Naomi and Jeff - another lovely and very photogenic couple! I was really worried throughout the session that the photos would end up identical to my morning session given the same locations, but thanks to tons of great ideas on their part and completely different lighting, they weren’t the same at all!!! These guys were tons of fun, brave near the falls, and up for anything! Thanks for the great session and I can’t wait for the wedding!

I had a wonderful day last Saturday doing two engagement sessions in Bragg Creek and Elbow Falls! My morning session was with Amanda and Trevor and we had so much fun! They were nervous about being on front of the camera but WOW!!! They totally rocked it! They’re absolutely natural in front of the camera and are so incredibly photogenic!!! You two looked so perfect, so in love and so happy!!! I can’t wait for your wedding - we’re going to have a blast!!! Thanks for coming out to Bragg Creek and the falls guys!!!
Dean and Anita’s wedding
This was a truly unique event! Anita has referred to this wedding repeatedly as “the craziest wedding ever” but I would actually describe it as truly unique and very well thought out!!! The entire setting just radiated fun, as did the people involved! The day was completely child friendly, including a huge bouncy castle (which, by the way, I went into for a while and had a great time!!!), a separate children’s meal, Crave cupcakes for the kiddos, face-painting, babysitters, everything imaginable to make it easy for the kids to enjoy! The bride and groom were so relaxed, so radiant, so happy!!! They, too, were all about fun! They chose cocktails to match the wedding colors, balloons as decorations, adults were having their faces painted as well - just such a fun group! And Anita was so incredibly relaxed!!! As beautiful as her dress was, it didn’t shake her up even a bit when there was chocolate ice cream spilled down the front of her dress, or face paint rubbing off as she hugged all the children. Honestly, it wasn’t crazy!!! It was perfect! I hope you enjoy your photo preview! I had a fantastic time taking them!!! Oh, and Anita… I think you might just have the most incredible eyes on earth!!! Better late than never.
I am so far behind on blogging!!! This poor family has been waiting over a week just to see their previews! This was a really neat session - I was asked to do a session in someone’s back yard and at first I was a little concerned as to how much space and how scenic the yard would be. Well, as it turns out, the yard was stunning, scenic, and enormous! It was like having our own private park!!! This family had never had family photos taken before and were so excited to get these done! Thanks for waiting so patiently!!!
One HOT family!
This family was super hot… the little dude actually had his hair slicked and messed to match daddy’s!!! This little guy entertained us with everything from adorable pouty faces to a heart-melting smile to a cool balance trick! Although you may not have realized it at the time… you all totally rocked this session!!!

This family is SO photogenic, don’t you think? This was such a perfect way to begin my weekend… a crisp and fresh Saturday morning at the park with a fun and gorgeous family! The little girls look just like mom… absolutely beautiful! Mike - I think you’ll have your hands full with these girls over the years! You have a stunning family!

Adorable little twin brothers!
These 2 are just so adorable!!! We had a great photo session on the weekend - even through the blazing heat! The little men had a great time swinging, learning to walk, and eating leaves!!! Tim and Kari - your boys are just so precious… thanks for letting me photograph you! I think they just might be up and coming models!!!
Another special baby
Another cool part of doing what I do… I so frequently get to photograph special moments in the lives of those I love! This precious little baby is the son of a dear friend of mine… you guys sure make gorgeous kids!!! Congrats Jon and Stefanie!!!!! He’s just perfect!
